Duncan hosts frightfully fun Halloween events on Oct 29
Various events for all guests, young to old, will be held in Duncan, the Heart of the Chisholm Trail, this October.
DUNCAN, Okla., Oct. 13, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This October, make plans to have a spooktacular time in Duncan, OK with an assortment of Halloween events. On October 29, 2022, you'll find the Boo Review, Simmons Center's Fall Festival, Halloween on the Trail, and Terror on the Trail.
The day will kick off with the beloved Boo Review. This event is great for the youngsters with a costume contest and trick-or-treating down historic Main Street Duncan. Visit all of the downtown Duncan vendors and load up on sweets in a safe and fun environment from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM. There is no cost required to attend or participate. After making memories on Main Street, load up the family for an exciting afternoon at the Simmons Center's annual Family Fall Festival. The event will begin at 12:00 PM and will include crafts, games, food trucks, and inflatables. Fall Fest will also include a costume contest at 3:00 PM. A fun event added in recent years is the Kid's Spook House. It allows the little ones to go through a "haunted house" but in a non-scary pathing with characters they know and love. Later that same evening, you'll also find Halloween festivities with a Chisholm Trail twist at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center. Join one of Duncan's most frequented attractions at their Halloween on the Trail from 6:00-9:00 PM. Guests will experience the Chisholm Trail like never before! You're certainly in for a treat for those who think they know Tex and Jesse, the CTHC's animatronic characters. Join Tex, Jesse, and the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center for a special, haunting performance from two of your favorite animatronics. The evening will also include spooky games and art projects. Once the little ones are tucked away in bed, join the Simmons Center for Terror on the Trail. Held on the new Heritage Trails, this haunted trail attraction will be held for one night only from 7:00-11:00 PM. Admission will be $15.00/per person and no refunds will be granted. The Simmons Center recommends visitors be 8 or older due to the scare factor associated with the event.
