Earth Animal ® Launches Interactive Live Streaming - Ask Our Vet Wellness Series

SOUTHPORT, Conn., April 17, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Since 1979, Earth Animal has been dedicated to caring for animals, people, and the Earth. In an effort to support one another during this unprecedented time, Earth Animal has implemented a live stream series focused on animal health and wellness with Dr. Kris Hansen. "Dr. Kris," a small animal veterinarian who has been practicing for more than 20 years, is a member of the Earth Animal Veterinary Team and owner of Ash Creek Veterinary Hospital in Bridgeport, CT.
The "Ask Our Vet Wellness Series" is a weekly interactive and educational Facebook live streaming Q&A forum focused on current events and topical issues that everyone is facing around the globe. The first live stream event, "COVID-19 And Your Pet," took place on Wednesday, March 25. Dr. Kris brought information and updates from the American Veterinary Medical Association and Centers for Disease Control to help people better understand the effects of the virus on our lives with animals.
"Covid-19 brought uncertainty and unease. Everyone's life as they knew it was changing and resources were diminishing. We knew we needed to connect with our community to offer support during their struggles," said Stephanie Volo, Chief Marketing Officer for Earth Animal. "Dr. Kris is a wealth of knowledge. The Facebook live stream "Ask Our Vet Wellness Series" continues every Friday and new information can be found each week on all of Earth Animal's social media platforms; Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, and Twitter where people may submit questions.
