Elevate K-12 Welcomes Amy Peterson As Vice President of Academics

CHICAGO, Sept. 21, 2021  Elevate K-12, the leading provider of high-quality live streaming instruction for K-12 classrooms, has hired longtime online educational executive and curriculum strategist Amy Peterson to serve as Vice President of Academics.

As the former Vice President of Academic Strategy at Pearson, a learning and education publishing company, Peterson brings more than 20 years of online academic programming experience to Elevate K-12.

In her new role, Peterson — who holds a Ph.D. in educational psychology and educational technology — is currently overseeing curriculum and instructor teams responsible for the development of academic content and classroom instruction.

"I'm very excited to join Elevate K-12 as it is the only company addressing our teacher shortage with live instruction delivered with a technology designed for K-12 teaching," Peterson said.
