Encore Energy, Inc. Completes Horizontal Multi-stage Frack for the Berea Sandstone in Lawrence County, Kentucky
Encore is currently developing multiple horizontal wells for production in the Berea oil field of Lawrence County, Kentucky, and recently completed a multi-stage hydraulic Frac treatment for its current well project. The Company is also building a ~5-6 mile gas gathering "pipeline" system to transport natural gas and optimize future oil production.
BOWLING GREEN, Ky., May 17, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Encore Energy, Inc. has previously drilled three (3) horizontal wells in the southern field of Lawrence County to produce from the Berea Sandstone formation. The Company is also developing a ~5-6 mile gas gathering system to transport gas and optimize oil production from each horizontal well. In April 2023, Encore successfully completed a multi-stage "slick water" sand Frac for the #6A in Lawrence County. This summer, the Company has plans to drill its next horizontal well in northern Lawrence County.
"The primary objective is crude oil production with natural gas serving as a byproduct, and we continue to make significant progress despite increased well costs, extreme labor shortages, supply chain issues, and increased regulation", said Steve Stengell, Encore's President CEO. "We are approaching 75% completion of our gas transmission system", added Stengell.
Qualified accredited investors can deduct 100% of the drilling costs associated with horizontal well projects with an estimated ~87% of this deduction available in the first year.
