Enemies of The Accord between Israel and Palestine plot to derail peace talks in new thriller
Clive Hallam imagines the geopolitical maelstrom in 'Pivot Point'
BIRMINGHAM, England, Sept. 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Peace between Israel and Palestine is imminent when a suspicious terrorist attack threatens the new treaty. CIA and MI6 agents join forces to discover the monster behind this mystery in Clive Hallam's new international political thriller, "Pivot Point" (published by AuthorHouse UK).
The book charts the efforts of U.S. President Angela Carlisle to effect lasting peace between Israel and the Palestinians. But dark forces gather to derail the increasingly productive talks and CIA and MI6 officers Brooke Murtagh and Steve Logan are tasked to uncover those involved before it's too late. What they uncover is something nobody was expecting.
"(My book) deals with a current, contentious issue that everyone has a view on. I take this scenario one step further and ask what would happen if one side decided there needed to be a radical answer to what they perceived as their loss of control over the situation," Hallam says. "The novel pulls the reader across the world and into a final confrontation that will keep people wanting to turn the page."
