Entech Partners with PHEAA to Provide Next Generation Student Loan Origination Solution
Entech to provide advanced technology, underwriting and customer support
MALVERN, Pa., March 28, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Entech (http://www.entech.com), today announced it has partnered with the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) to provide end-to-end loan origination and customer support for PHEAA's low-cost PA Forward Student Loan Program. PHEAA plans to begin accepting applications in April 2019.
PHEAA, one the nation's leading student aid organizations, will offer a borrower-friendly suite of low-cost undergraduate, graduate, and parent loans to assist Pennsylvania students with their higher education costs not covered by grants, scholarships, federal loans, or other aid. An affordable PA Forward refinance loan will also be available, allowing borrowers in repayment to combine their federal and private student loans into a single loan, making repayment more manageable.
Entech will provide a complete loan origination solution using its advanced AppWorks loan origination platform. Customer services will be delivered through Entech's digital, state-off-the-art loan operations and call center staffed by a highly experienced team of student loan specialists.

PHEAA will be the lender and loan servicer of the new program, with tax-exempt financing provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).
