Equal Access to Justice Campaign Receives $30,000 Donation From Connatser Family Law
DALLAS (PRWEB) December 20, 2018 -- Aubrey and Adam Connatser of Connatser Family Law have donated $30,000 in support of the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP), the latest in a series of commitments providing more than $180,000 over a five-year period in support of the program and its goal of increasing access to legal aid for Dallas’ poor families and individuals.
As founder and managing member of Connatser Family Law, a leading family law firm serving North Texas, Aubrey Connatser and the firm’s legal team have been proud to support access to legal services by providing both pro bono legal services and financial support to the DVAP and the Equal Access to Justice Campaign.
“Creating affordable and free access to legal services for our poorest community members is one of our greatest priorities,” said Aubrey Connatser. “The question should never be ‘how much legal service can you afford;’ justice should be available to everyone.”
The DVAP is a joint initiative of the Dallas Bar Association and Legal Aid of Northwest Texas. The program is the only one of its kind in Texas and brings together the volunteer resources of a major metropolitan bar association with the legal aid expertise of the largest and oldest civil legal aid program in North Texas.
