Farm Credit of the Virginias Welcomes Weber to Marketing Team
(PRWEB) September 12, 2019 -- Weber hails from Northampton County, Pennsylvania. She spent much of her upbringing at the horse barn where she worked and trained. Weber rode hunt seat competitively through high school. She was also actively involved in her county 4-H program.
Weber received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at West Chester University, where she went on to complete coursework for her Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. While at West Chester University, Weber competed on the IHSA (Intercollegiate Horse Show Association) circuit and was the president of the school’s equestrian team.
Weber’s career started in the “job board” industry where she served as a Career Advocate, providing support for resume writing services. As the needs of that company shifted and her interest in marketing peaked, she transitioned through a variety of roles and departments, working most closely with the Marketing and User Acquisition teams. During that time, she assumed various titles, including Affiliate Marketing Manager, Affiliate Manager, and most recently, Digital Marketing Specialist.
In response to what she looks forward to bringing to the FCV team, Weber shared, “With my background in digital marketing, I’m excited to combine the insight that can be gained from digital analytics with more traditional types of marketing utilized in the agricultural community. I’m really looking forward to this new role and subsequent adventure of joining the Farm Credit family.”
Laura Staley, FCV Director of Marketing shared, “Lauren has a strong background in marketing and is passionate about agriculture. She has the skill set and enthusiasm to be an asset to FCV and our customer-owners.”
Weber and her fiancé are in the market for property in the Romney area to start their very own homestead. She shared, “We’re both passionate about living close to the land, raising our own food, and living sustainably.”
