Held down by her lack of self-esteem and belief that she does not hold up to social standards, Addy is uncertain about whether she truly is the key to restoring harmony to the universe. Her journey is both one of action and of soul-searching. Addy’s search to find her place in the world is what Simmonds hopes will help make Addy relatable to young women in particular.
