FlannelJax’s to Add Locations Across United States
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario (PRWEB) September 03, 2019 -- FlannelJax’s, a popular axe-throwing and recreational sports experience, will expand to five locations by the end of 2019. FlannelJax’s will open additional corporate-owned centers in Madison, WI, Seattle, WA and Grand Rapids, MI, as well as the first franchise-owned center in Fort Collins, CO.
FlannelJax’s opened in St. Paul, MN in 2018 and features axe and lumberjack-related activities, including axe-throwing, Thump-the-Stump and crosscut sawing. FlannelJax’s features fun competition in a safe, structured environment under the guidance and instruction of a certified staff of Lumberjacks and Lumberjills.
Since opening its first location last year, FlannelJax’s became an instant success and has hosted scores of group and social outings as well as large corporate events and team-building activities. FlannelJax’s completed its Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) earlier this year and is seeking qualified franchise candidates to bring the concept to their community.
In July, FlannelJax’s opened a customer care center in Sydney, Nova Scotia to streamline inquiries and bookings across all locations, in order to better serve customers. The center handles inbound calls as well as online messages through FlannelJax’s website, scheduling axe-throwing events at each center.
FlannelJax’s is owned by Metal Supermarkets, the world’s largest supplier of small-quantity metals. Metal Supermarkets has almost 30 years of franchise experience and 92 locations across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. This experience makes them uniquely qualified to oversee FlannelJax’s plans for growth with company-owned and franchised units.
“FlannelJax’s has been a tremendous success since it opened in St. Paul last year and it is a concept that can be replicated in many other markets across the country,” said Stephen Schober, Chief Executive Officer of FlannelJax’s and Metal Supermarkets. “We believe this is the perfect time to bring our popular axe-throwing experience to other communities, and Madison, Seattle, Grand Rapids and Fort Collins will be excellent fits for FlannelJax’s unique and premium Lumberjack sports experience. We look forward to bringing this fun and successful concept to many more markets across the United States.”
The first new FlannelJax’s location will open in Madison in September, followed by openings in Seattle and Grand Rapids in October and Fort Collins in December.
