CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., May 3, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- On April 18, 2019, plans were announced to build a new express style tunnel car wash in Charlottesville, VA, providing affordable and efficient car washing services to residents of Charlottesville, Albemarle County and surrounding areas. A locally owned business, this express style tunnel car wash will be managed by Partner/Manager, Jeff Kamrath, a former UVA Baseball pitcher.
"We are excited to bring to Charlottesville, and Albemarle County, an express style tunnel car wash, that will provide a fun, family-friendly, fast and affordable car washing service," said Kamrath, who also is the Owner of Aqua Cville Hand Car Wash.
Kamrath and his partners have purchased 2275 Seminole Lane, formerly the 'Floors R Us' building, which is adjacent to Acme Stove, and is located across from Walmart and Umansky Honda and Subaru on Route 29 (Seminole Trail).
Per Kamrath, the former 'Floors R Us' building, will be redesigned in order to house an express style tunnel car wash, with a conveyor system, best in class equipment and free self-service vacuum stations for customers. The equipment installation and supplies will be supported by Washtech, Inc., a local Albemarle business and the premier distributor of the finest car wash systems, equipment, products and solutions in the mid-Atlantic.
As a locally owned business, Kamrath believes in contributing to and involving local businesses as much as possible, such as Design & Develop (architect), and Waterstreet Studio (civil engineer), to name a few. Kamrath goes on, "We are committed to supporting local Charlottesville and Albemarle businesses throughout the design and build process. According to Kamrath, a name and opening date have not been chosen.
