The Brooklyn-based frozen treat company is quickly becoming the nation's fastest-growing chain of Italian ices and ice cream. Based around a formula of nostalgia rather than corporate profits, Uncle Louie G recently announced plans to open a wave of new stores in the Southern Florida market with a new franchise partner, ULG FLORIDA, LLC. Its first location is set to launch at 5795 North Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale. UGL Florida plans to open more than a dozen new sites by the end of 2020, joining the 48 existing Uncle Louie G locations across the country.

UGL Florida LLC is led by Kenneth Katz, who brings more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant operation field, commercial real estate development and construction. Mr. Katz worked hand-in-hand with Keller Williams Commercial Real Estate to strategically and logistically organize his plans for expansion throughout the State.
KW Commercial agent Katie Rawnsley helped to bridge corporate objectives with landlord requirements to codify a 10-year tenancy at the company's first Fort Lauderdale location. With the support of all KW Commercial personnel, all parties moved through the approval and documentation process expeditiously, with renovations commencing less than 30 days after initial site visits.
Other members of the KW Commercial team bring complementary expertise in commercial real estate and development in the South Florida area.
