Based in in the United States, Mr. Marquis will work with senior leadership to develop and enhance relationships across the global spectrum of available capital. Mr. Marquis has spent the past 12 years in executive and leadership roles at the convergence of international business and government. At the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), Mr. Marquis was a member of the CEO's Executive Team, started the Office of Strategic Initiatives and managed a global business development team that pursued investments of up to $1B through direct equity, structured finance and public-private-partnerships in energy, infrastructure, healthcare and telecommunications sectors. His team identified co-financing opportunities with impact funds, multinational corporations, investment banks and development finance institutions in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. Prior to joining DFC, Mr. Marquis was a senior commissioned officer on the National Security Council and preceding his government service, he founded, scaled and sold a corporate advisory firm. Mr. Marquis holds a Master of Public Administration degree and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations degree from the University of Southern California (USC).
