Gilbane Building Company Reaches Milestone at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino Expansion
MILWAUKEE, Wisc. (PRWEB) August 28, 2018 -- Gilbane Building Company recently celebrated a major milestone on the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino Expansion project in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The topping-off ceremony for this high-profile hotel expansion was attended by City, Tribal and organizational leadership, as well as project team members from Gilbane Building Company, Greenfire Management and Cuningham Group.
The tower expansion will provide Potawatomi Hotel & Casino with 119 additional rooms to the existing facility for a total of 500 rooms. A four-story infill area between the existing casino and hotel will also be added and include storage, multiple kitchens expansion, a pastry kitchen, banquet facilities, ballroom and spa. Construction on the new tower began in December 2017 and is expected to open in August 2019. Gilbane also partnered with Greenfire Management and Cuningham Group in 2014 to complete the first tower for Potawatomi.
