Girl Up Hosts First-Ever Leadership Summit in the United Kingdom: Shay Mitchell, Scarlett Curtis, and More Speaking at Day-Long Event for Girl Leaders
Summit bringing together more than 100 girls from around the United Kingdom and Europe to learn from influential leaders and fellow youth activists
LONDON, Oct. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Girl Up is hosting its first Leadership Summit in the United Kingdom on October 27 in London, convening a gathering of activists, influencers, business leaders, and Girl Up Club members for a day of discussion and programming focused on activism and advocacy for gender equality.
More than 100 girl attendees of the Girl Up Leadership Summit, United Kingdom will hear from experts in the intersectional global feminist movement for gender equality. Key speakers include actress and entrepreneur Shay Mitchell, author and activist Scarlett Curtis, Executive Director for UN Women UK Claire Barnett, Malala Fund CEO Farah Mohamed, broadcaster Charlie Webster, vlogger Hannah Witton, and more. The Summit will include panels, inspiring hands-on workshops, and a book signing by Scarlett Curtis, curator of Feminists Don't Wear Pink (And Other Lies).
