Gluent Data Platform included in Gartner Market Guide for Data Virtualization
DALLAS, Dec. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Gluent Inc. announces that its data virtualization software (Gluent Data Platform) has been included in Gartner's 2018 "Market Guide for Data Virtualization" report.
Gartner's report, released November 16, 2018, outlines the data virtualization marketplace, states their key findings and recommendations, analyzes market direction and identifies the key players.
The report concludes that the entire field of data virtualization is maturing, offering more options, higher performance and better security.
"Data virtualization is now a mature data integration style, supporting key operational and analytics use cases," Gartner states.
The report goes on to say that more than 35% of the surveyed organizations make extensive use of it in production-level deployments, with an estimated 60% of all organizations on track to implement some sort data virtualization by 2022.
