WASHINGTON, Nov. 6, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- GoGoTowel, the original convertible and wearable beach towel, officially launched its Kickstarter campaign today.
The GoGoTowel is a wearable beach towel which transforms into a more conventional lay-flat towel, making it versatile, convenient, and unique. Made of a microfiber material, it is lightweight, absorbent, and fast-drying. In addition, it is also odor-resistant and sand-repellant.
The design features a velcro-based shoulder seam, allowing the wearable garment to convert into a traditional towel. It also includes a hood, two pockets, and snaps for keeping the wearable towel closed when walking.
"Other than printed designs, the basic beach towel hasn't evolved since Julius Caesar was Emperor of Rome! We've created something that can be worn as a coverup on and off the beach, and then used as a regular beach towel. We also expect our consumers to use it at the pool, days on the lake, or even in college dorms," said co-founder Taylor Llewellyn.
The first products will be available in both kids and adult sizes, making it ideal for individuals, get togethers, or family reunions.
"We think that by keeping your hands free, your body dry, and your family happy, we'll be able to make your day at the beach that much better with the GoGoTowel," added Llewellyn.
Early adopters through Kickstarter will be able to purchase the GoGoTowel for $29, substantially reduced from the anticipated price of $45 per convertible towel. Discounted bundles will also be available throughout the campaign.
The GoGoTowel will be available in five colors at launch, with more designs expected to follow.
The campaign will end on December 3rd, 2020, after which the GoGoTowel will be available exclusively at GoGoTowel.com.
