"We found an almost unprecedented number of Structure, HTML, Coding, Database, SEO, and Image errors on the site. In addition, most of the links were broken or not even connected. How the site could even rank like that was a mystery to our team,” Richard Uzelac added.

Website Development and Design: The GoMarketing team got to work fixing over one hundred issues while keeping the site design mostly as it had been to stay within budget and support their long-standing brand. Only minor changes were made to the design to make the site look more professional and proper.
Search Engine Optimization: For SEO the original site designer did not employ standard proper HTML and Search Engine Marketing principles. The Search Engine Optimization SEO team went in and corrected many SEO mistakes and organized the site properly so that it could rank highly on Google and other search engines. “At the end of the day, ranking highly on Google is the number one priority for most service websites. When someone, as in this case, was looking to get their home computers fixed, they typically go to Google and call the companies that are on the first page of Google. Being on the second or third or lower pages greatly decreases their chances of getting a call and subsequent work,” Uzelac added.
Content Creation: “Content is King online, and this site had very little meaningful content for potential users and customers to engage with,” Richard Uzelac said. “There were some erroneous techniques used on the site. The site had a lot of repeated city names for no reason. Google does not want marketers to ‘stuff’ keywords into websites to get more traffic to a website. Google wants quality useful and appropriate content on websites. Our first course of action was to re-write the content that was there to be helpful for visitors. And since the site was home of very little content, we needed to increase the amount of content on pages and create whole new pages of content to give the site better authority for its business online,” said Richard Uzelac
The site was finished and tested. Then the site was submitted properly to Google, Bing and Yahoo and all their affiliates. After launch GoMarketing continues weekly to update and add content to the website. We are also building appropriate links to and from the website and expose the site on social media accounts.
