Grace Rose will host the 15th Annual Grace Rose for Cystic Fibrosis Fashion Show Fundraiser on Saturday, August 18th at TOMS HQ in Los Angeles.
The event will feature a Fashion Show with new looks from the Rosie G clothing collection, styled with shoes from TOMS Venice Collection. The Rosie G collection will be modeled by young women including actresses Jillian Shea Spaeder, Ava Kolker, Talitha Bateman, Laya DeLeon Hayes, Indiana Massara, Grace Wethor and more.
The event raises funds for The Grace Rose Foundation which supports the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and its mission to cure CF. The average life expectancy for someone living with CF has recently increased from early 20's to mid 30's. The medical advancements in the CF community are what help encourage Grace Rose. She intends to live a full, productive life while being able to help find a cure for CF – In Style.
The Grace Rose for Cystic Fibrosis Fashion Show Fundraiser will be emceed by Kit Hoover from Access Hollywood. There will be a DJ set by Micah Paul, and performances by Trinity Rose, Bryce Xavier, Jaheem Toombs, Gabe de Guzman, Connor Finnerty, Sheaden Gariel, Ruby Jay, Jayden Bartels, Leanne Tessa, and more.

ABOUT GRACE ROSE
Grace Rose is a 15-year-old entrepreneur, designer, and performer who was born with Cystic Fibrosis. Her annual fashion show fundraisers began when she was just one year old. Her advocacy began as soon as she could speak and she designed her first dress when she was 2 years old. At 10 years, she started her own clothing line: Rosie G as a fashionable way to bring awareness and raise money for the disease. The clothing line has been sold at Nordstrom, Lesters, Denny's and boutiques around the country.
Grace Rose has helped raise more than $300,000 for CF research through her fashion events. She is the CF Ambassador and hosts the live auction for the largest California CF event: CA Winemasters which raises more than 1 Million annually. She is also a patient at Children's Hospital LA, and is the only patient and Corporate Sponsor, speaking at conventions, hosting fashion events, and helping CHLA raise money during their Make March Matter campaign each year.
WHAT IS CYSTIC FIBROSIS?
Cystic Fibrosis is a life-threatening, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and progressively limits the ability to breathe. It is extremely rare, affecting only 70,000 worldwide. In people with CF, a defective gene causes a thick buildup of mucus in the lungs, pancreas and other organs. In the lungs, the mucus clogs the airways and traps bacteria leading to infections, extensive lung damage, and eventually, respiratory failure. In the pancreas, the mucus prevents the release of digestive enzymes that allow the body to break down food and absorb vital nutrients.
