Greenberg Traurig Advised on a Record Breaking Lease Deal
WARSAW, Poland (PRWEB) September 03, 2019 -- Attorneys from the Warsaw office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP advised Golub GetHouse, the landlord, on a lease agreement concluded with mBank for office space in the Mennica Legacy Tower complex in Warsaw. As a result of the lease, the bank will occupy 45.6 thousand square meters in one of the most modern office buildings in Poland. During the negotiations, the lease space was increased by 5.6 thousand square meters, making it the largest transaction in the history of the Polish office space market.
The Greenberg Traurig transaction team was led by Local Partner Magdalena Życzkowska Jóźwiak, supported by Senior Associate Agnieszka Gul-Czajkowska.
“The volume of space leased makes this transaction both unique and exceptional. It also stands out because almost the entire space in the tower that forms part of the Mennica Legacy Tower complex is being rented to a renowned bank and its specific requirements had to be considered in the negotiating process. The agreement is therefore “tailor-made” in the true sense of the word. We are extremely pleased that we once more had the opportunity to represent Golub GetHouse in connection with another extremely prestigious lease agreement,” said Życzkowska-Jóźwiak.
The Mennica Legacy Tower complex consists of the 140-meter high Mennica Legacy Tower and the adjacent Western Building, with a total area of over 65.6 thousand square meters. The office building is being developed at the intersection of Prosta and Żelazna streets, in the Wola District of Warsaw.
Golub GetHouse is a real estate developer and investment company with over 55 years of experience on the real estate market in the United States and Europe.
