According to the publication's website, Super Lawyers selects attorneys using a patented multiphase selection process. Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with third-party research and each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis. No more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in a state are named to Super Lawyers magazine's "Rising Stars" list.
Mitsdarfer assists with complex transactions involving the acquisition, finance, development, lease, and disposition of real estate for clients in the lender, developer, owner/operator, joint venture, corporate, and investor space. He assists clients by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating the various documents related to a wide range of commercial and industrial real estate transactions, as well as helping with virtually all facets of due diligence, including title. Mitsdarfer also represents clients in many aspects of real estate development, including representing clients in land use and zoning matters before various commissions, boards and other bodies to pursue necessary land development approvals.
