GuardKnox Names Dr. Knut Sauer as EU Managing Director
Former DXC Global Vice President and accomplished technology leader, Dr. Sauer joins the first Cybertech Tier supplier to lead its German subsidiary and oversee business operations across Europe
RAMLA, Israel and STUTTGART, Germany, Feb. 3, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- GuardKnox, the automotive industry's first Cybertech Tier supplier of high-performance computing solutions, announced today the appointment of Dr. Knut Sauer as GuardKnox's EU Managing Director. With two decades of automotive, R&D, and engineering experience, Sauer will play a pivotal role in further developing and expanding GuardKnox's presence in the European market.

Reporting directly to the CEO, Sauer will lead GuardKnox's EU office located in Stuttgart, Germany. In his role, Sauer will oversee GuardKnox's business relationships with partners, OEMs, and Tier 1 suppliers across the European automotive industry, as well as lead efforts to achieve significant revenue growth via major projects and the onboarding of new customers.

Sauer joins GuardKnox from DXC Technology where he served as CTO and Global VP for automotive, travel, transport, and energy and was responsible for the company's international rollout of key products and services. Prior to this, he held prominent international leadership roles in multiple transportation and mobility companies, including as Global VP and Chief Technologist at German multinational conglomerate company Siemens. Sauer holds a PhD in Engineering from Imperial College London.
