Haute Living Celebrates Michael Strahan With Zenith Watches At Philippe Chow Downtown

NEW YORK, March 12, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Haute Living took to Manhattan's newest hot spot, Philippe Chow Downtown at the Dream Hotel, to celebrate its latest New York cover star—NFL legend and two-time Emmy Award-winner Michael Strahan. Zenith Watches joined in on the ultra-luxurious affair, as some of New York's finest guests gathered in the intimate private room for a memorable evening.

Strahan covered the luxury magazine looking dapper in his personal clothing line, Collection by Michael Strahan, as well as a fashionable timepiece from Zenith Watches. He shared in his exclusive interview how he's always looking to wear more than one hat and enter new career paths. "Half the time, you get so boxed in. You're supposed to just do one thing," he says. "I'm like, 'That's cool, that's great, but I'm more than just a football player. I'm a person who has other interests outside of sports, and I want to find and explore some of those things.'"

The Renaissance Man entered the event as friendly and charming as ever, ready to celebrate the evening with some of his closest friends and colleagues. Notable attendees included actor Omari Hardwick, Miles Chamley-Watson, chef Philippe Chow, Zenith Brand Director of North America Thierry Collot and Haute Living co-founder Seth Semilof.

Guests indulged in Philippe signatures including the famed Chicken Satay, Steamed Dumplings and Green Prawns to start. For mains, attendees got to enjoy the Wok Seared Branzino with sweet & spicy eggplant and the Beijing Chicken with sweet red bean sauce and walnuts. And for side dishes, favorites included the hand-pulled vegetable lo mein, house rice, bok choy and a beautiful selection of fine sweets for dessert. To pair with the signature plates, guests also sipped on specialty cocktails including the Lychee Martini and Philippe Passion.

To make the night even more special, chef Philippe Chow made a rare appearance and gave a warm welcome to Strahan and event attendees, wishing them a good night and thanking them for coming to the brand new restaurant.

Toward the end of the evening, Haute Living and artist Shawn Kolodny presented Strahan with a very special gift, customized for Strahan with replicas of all of his favorite grooming products and personalized with the brands that harbor special recognition for him. He was also gifted a box of Gurkha Cigars as a special gift from the brand.

The always-gracious man of the hour and TV host gave a heartfelt thank you to the room and raised his glass to cheers in celebration of a beautiful evening.
