Hydromorphone, Vancomycin and Magnesium Sulfate Now Available from Pentec Health
Multiple Strengths Available in Snap-N-Go® Vials and Ready to Administer Vials
PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Pentec Health, Inc., an established leader in patient-specific and sterile compounding (503A), announced the availability of multiple products using their patented Snap-N-Go® (SNG) vials (Vancomycin and Magnesium Sulfate) as well as ready-to-administer vials (Hydromorphone). Snap-N-Go® products are concentrated, sterile solutions that come in single-dose vials. Each vial delivers a precise dose or desired concentration, which is not available commercially (SNG) when introduced into a diluent bag of choice. In the forward positions, these vials can be stored in automated dispensing machines (ADMs) for rapid retrieval, dose-tracking and subsequent administration to a patient by a nurse utilizing a standard vial-to-bag adaptor/activation process. Pentec Health is now registered to sell these products in 35 states, with Florida and New York being the most recent additions.

Pentec Health's dedicated 503B Outsourcing Facility now enables the company to provide non-patient-specific compounded sterile preparations to hospitals and other institutional pharmacies. It is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a Human Drug Outsourcing Facility under Section 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and has been inspected for compliance with that Agency's stringent current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements for both its design and operation.
