Hypur Mobile Payment App Now Available on Apple App Store and Google Play Store
Hypur app provides increased legitimacy to under-served industries

Hypur is a leading provider of technology for financial institutions serving money service and legal cannabis businesses. Since 2016, financial institutions have used Hypur's secure, transparent payment platform to provide electronic payments for cannabis businesses.
With features such as Face ID, Touch ID, and auto check-in, the Hypur app dramatically improves the in-store payment process for customers and merchants. Hypur can also be used for order-ahead, delivery, online and business-to-business transactions.
To prevent fraud Hypur uses a two-step payment process of checking-in to a store and entering a 4-digit Personal Access Code (PAC). The Hypur app enables users to auto check-in so paying is as simple as entering their PAC.
In recognition of the importance of secure, legitimate, and transparent electronic payments are for the cannabis industry, Hypur has chosen to announce the release of its app during the MJBizCon in Las Vegas, the largest Marijuana Business Conference in the United States.
Without access to credit and debit card processing, cannabis businesses are forced to rely on cash or unreliable work-around payment products that put customer information, and their reputation, at risk. Hypur's app is free to download and there are no fees to users paying with Hypur. A Hypur profile is needed to pay with Hypur, but signup is free and provides instant approval.
