ISET celebrates 35th anniversary meeting with nearly 1,000 registrants, record-breaking number of research submissions, sold out Exhibit Hall

MALVERN, Pa., Jan. 19, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- For its 35th annual gathering, HMP Global's International Symposium on Endovascular Therapy (ISET) received a record-breaking amount of research submissions, welcomed nearly 1,000 registrants from around the globe, and hosted more than 40 companies in its sold-out Exhibit Hall, solidifying its position as the premier arena for pioneering and practical endovascular education.
ISET 2023 was held January 16-19 in Miami Beach, Fla., and welcomed the current and future legends in the field to explore groundbreaking techniques, technologies, and procedures while exchanging discussion and debate that ultimately drives patient care forward.
ISET's founder and course director is Barry T. Katzen, MD, FACC, FACR, FSIR, founder and Chief Medical Executive of the Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute; Chief Medical Innovation Officer, Baptist Health South Florida; and professor and founding chairman of the Department of Radiology at Florida International University, Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami.

This year, 153 research abstracts were submitted for presentation, shattering previous records. All abstracts underwent blind peer review for quality of research, educational or scientific content, logical presentation, and impact on healthcare. Cutting-edge research e-posters were displayed on multimedia screens in the poster area of the Exhibit Hall at ISET, and late-breaking data was presented at the first major endovascular meeting in 2023.

ISET 2023 was strengthened through continued endorsement from the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), continued partnership with the Society for Vascular Medicine (SVM), and a recently added educational partnership with the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS), which collaborated on overall programming and provided two new vascular surgery Course Directors to this year's expert lineup. With the support of these partnerships, ISET featured a bold scientific program covering the complete landscape of endovascular therapy practice and challenges.
Participants joined ISET 2023 from more than 20 countries around the globe for an educational program presented by more than 85 of the world's foremost faculty presenters. Programming included focused symposia, "Essentials of Endovascular Therapy" co-developed by SVM, and "Non-Invasive Vascular Diagnosis," during the pre-symposium day, and an informative Town Hall on "The Movement of Endovascular Procedures to the Ambulatory Space," supported by an educational grant from Philips.
Live cases were presented by Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, University Hospital Leipzig, University of Pennsylvania, and Advanced Cardiac & Vascular Centers for Amputation Prevention. The educational agenda also featured dedicated sessions on PAD, embolotherapy, CLI, venous, PE, clot management, and an aortic update.
More than 40 supporting companies filled the ISET's sold-out Exhibit Hall, offering attendees opportunities to learn about a wide range of services and equipment to best serve their needs and improve patient care.
ISET offered the opportunity to earn more than 40 CME/CNE credits through its Maximum Value Package. Clinicians who were not able to join in person may register for the MVP package and receive accredited session recordings on-demand, accessible in early February and available for 90 days.
