In a harsh, unpredictable world with enemies all around, several teens must cooperate to survive
'Outcasts' by Bradley Shaw features action, humor, romance and a variety of characters
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz., March 24, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- A teen imprisoned in an abandoned town works with other young people to escape, doing their best to survive in a dangerous, hostile world in "Outcasts" (published by Archway Publishing). The book is the first in a planned series by author Bradley Shaw.
In a world ravaged by war, a kid named Leo is forced to live in a prison called the Square with other children around his age. In a freak twist of events, Leo and his friends find themselves on the run, with an army of evil soldiers after them. Leo and the other characters face everything from natural forces such as hunger to armies of soldiers. Leo himself encounters various things from bounty hunters to bullet wounds. If they can't learn to work together and trust each other, they will be doomed.
"It is a book about teenagers, specifically awkward and relatable teenagers, written from the point of view of a teenager. But as far as plot goes, it's a story with a unique group of characters that form complex but hilarious relations with each other that only build and create more action, tension, and memorable moments." Shaw explains. "I just want this book to be an example that you can do anything you try, and even if it's not the best, it's still one step forward."
