Industrial relations specialist publishes book covering his learnings in his 50 plus years of experience
Stephen Rooke announces the release of 'The Naked Industrial Officer: Industrial relations processes unveiled'
PERTH, Australia, March 4, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Stephen Rooke is an Australian industrial relations specialist with more than half a century of experience. As a suggestion from younger colleagues, he publishes his learnings and ideas in "The Naked Industrial Officer: Industrial relations processes unveiled" (published by Xlibris AU).
Rooke has worked in a range of industries, companies, locations and roles. He worked in an iron and steel production company, The Broken Hill Proprietary Company Limited (BHP), and rose to the rank of assistant superintendent of industrial relations. He was also once the chairman of the Western Australian Police Force Promotions Appeals Tribunal. He then worked at the Water Corporation of Western Australia as a strategy manager in industrial relations and human resources.
Other than these companies, Rooke took on several consulting projects and contracts over a number of years and tried his hand in the construction industry. He worked on major engineering construction projects in Western Australia, Queensland and the Northern Territory.
Rooke writes in "The Naked Industrial Officer" his years of learning in the field of industrial relations. It is designed to be read easily by anyone who is interested in an industrial relations career or anyone who is just curious as to what this vaguely understood activity is all about.
Rooke hopes to deliver a better understanding of industrial relations processes through his book. For more information on "The Naked Industrial Officer," please visit https://www.xlibris.com/en-au/bookstore/bookdetails/797443-the-naked-industrial-officer
