NAPLES, Fla., Sept. 12, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dacier Technologies, a cloud provisioning and governance platform, announced the appointment of Scott McCausland as its CEO. Scott will be responsible for growing the company's market share and building a world class team. Mark Leone, one of the original developers of the Dacier platform, stated "while we were in stealth mode, we looked for someone who had experience scaling companies from the ground up and Scott's record speaks for itself."
Scott has served in numerous senior leadership roles during his more than 30-year career in the tech sector. Most recently, Scott provided consulting services to software companies in various stages of growth. Clients included companies in Cybersecurity, Cloud Governance, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Scott founded MVP Systems Software, Inc. in 2009. MVP Systems Software is a leader in enterprise job scheduling and workload automation solutions. During his time at MVP, the company grew from two people to more than seventy people, with offices in the US, United Kingdom, and Australia. MVP experienced tremendous revenue growth during Scott's tenure, as the company's customer base expanded to almost one thousand organizations. In November 2018, Scott sold MVP Systems to Help Systems, a private equity backed software company. He stayed on as General Manager of Workload Automation Solutions until 2020.
Prior to MVP, Scott was the EVP Sales and one of two shareholders of a privately held software company that specialized in application monitoring. Scott led the company from its infancy in 1991 until 2007, at which time the company had more than 150 people in eleven offices. In 2007, Scott sold his stake in the company.
Scott stated "I am excited to help launch Dacier Technologies. From the conversations I have had with early adopters of the platform, Dacier solves critical issues that have been plaguing developers for years. If you are a developer and hope to avoid corporate bottlenecks, you should check out Dacier."
