Infosecurity North America Announces 'Innovative Start-Up Company of the Year' Competition
Cybersecurity Startups to Present Innovative Product Offerings to Panel of Venture Capital Judges at Expo & Conference
NEW YORK, Nov. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Infosecurity Group, the global knowledge hub for the information security community, today announced the "Innovative Start-Up Company of the Year" competition at the second annual Infosecurity North America 2018 Expo and Conference, which takes place from November 14 - 15 at the Javits Convention Center in New York. The competition will occur from 11 a.m. to noon on Thursday at the Infosecurity Magazine Networking Lounge.
The competition will take place at the Infosecurity North America Start-Up Zone, a dedicated area featuring a concentration of companies new to the information security industry. Each participating company will have the opportunity to pitch their innovative product or service to a panel of venture capitalists. The winner will be announced following the presentations and promoted through press, social media and on the Infosecurity Magazine website, which boasts an audience of over 160,000 subscribers.
This year's participants are as follows:
- Exponam: A secure, portable, and tamper-proof way to share and explore data. Exponam .BIG files are ultra secure (AES-256; salted SHA-256; multi-factor enabled with dynamic central rights administration) enabling secure data access beyond an organization's security perimeter. Companies can exhibit in the Start-Up Zone if they were founded after November 14, 2013, and generate less than $500k annually. They also must be privately or venture capital-owned. Signing up as a Start-Up Zone exhibitor differentiates young companies on the floor plan and provides an opportunity to exhibit at Infosecurity North America at a lower cost.
