YUCAIPA, Calif., Dec. 23, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In partnership with the City of Yucaipa, the Inland Empire SBDC is now providing services out of the Yucaipa Business Incubator Center building located at 34282 Yucaipa Boulevard, Yucaipa, CA 92399. Both agencies expect tremendous success in serving prospective and existing small business entrepreneurs in the Inland Empire. The Center offers a combination of business development resources, a collaborative work environment, and a network of colleagues and consultants to nurture new and existing small businesses by helping them grow through the difficult early stages of development.
The Inland Empire Small Business Development Center (SBDC) who is hosted by the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at California State University, San Bernardino provides small businesses and entrepreneurs in Riverside and San Bernardino counties with business assistance services from a variety of locations throughout the Inland Empire. It has been helping small businesses climb the ladder of success for over 20 years. The Inland Empire SBDC's mission is "to provide the Inland Empire small business community we serve with affordable access to quality consulting, powerful training and key resources that allow people to achieve their dreams" says Paul Nolta, Director of the Inland Empire SBDC.
Similarly, the goal of the City of Yucaipa's Business Incubator Program is to assist local start-up companies through the support services and resources offered by the Inland Empire SBDC at the Incubator Center. Services offered by the Inland Empire SBDC and at the Center include, but are not limited to, one-on-one counseling with small business consultants, and workshops in areas relevant to start-up entrepreneurs such as developing a business plan, accounting for startups, and how to start a business. In addition, the Incubator Center offers participants quality and affordable office space shared by other budding entrepreneurs looking to grow their business, providing for a collaborative work environment. Unique about the City's program is it is open to innovative start-ups in any industry, rather than being industry specific. Start-up businesses based in Yucaipa that have the potential to grow, create jobs, and bring an innovative product to market within 2 years are encouraged to apply to the City's program.
Under the new partnership between the City and the Inland Empire SBDC, the Inland Empire SBDC will have offices in the Incubator Center to provide consulting services to participants and the general public alike, allowing the center to serve as a business resource hub for other companies located in Yucaipa and beyond.
