Innovation Leader Announces 2019 Impact Award Winners List
Winners Include Robert Bosch GmbH, Duke Energy, Citi Ventures, Houston Methodist, and Vertex Pharmaceuticals
BOSTON, Sept. 24, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Innovation Leader, a fast-growing media and events company with a laser focus on helping the world's largest companies build competitive advantage, has announced nine winners of the 2019 Impact Awards, which honor companies that have achieved extraordinary outcomes related to their corporate innovation programs. The winners are Adtalem Global Education, Robert Bosch GmbH, Citi Ventures, Delta Cafés, Duke Energy, Houston Methodist, Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab, Merchants Fleet, and Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Projects ranged from finding ways to quickly support disaster relief efforts (Johns Hopkins) to accelerating the new product development process (Bosch) to creating software to teach scientific concepts in a virtual reality environment (Adtalem Global Education.)
The Innovation Leader editorial team first narrowed the applicant pool down to a group of 23 finalist companies. These 23 companies were then evaluated based on the overall value and impact they have delivered by a panel of judges from organizations such as Hyatt Hotels, Bose Corp., HCA Healthcare, Verizon, and the University of Southern California's Annenberg Innovation Lab.

The winners will be celebrated and more details about their initiatives will be presented at Impact 2019, the only innovation conference designed exclusively for corporate innovators. Applications for the 2020 Impact Awards will open in March 2020 and will be available online here. The 2020 Impact Award winners will be recognized at next year's Impact gathering, hosted in Boston October 19-21, 2020.
