Intellitec Solutions named by Accounting Today as Top 100 Value Added Reseller
Diversified cloud ERP software was the key to achieving recognition
NEWARK, Del., July 29, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Intellitec Solutions has been named by Accounting Today magazine as a Top 100 VAR for 2020. Accounting Today's annual ranking of Value Added Resellers of ERP Software is a look at the firms that have demonstrated insight on their market, the direction their clients and customers are heading in, and the technologies that are shaping their future. This honor represents the second such award in 2020 for Intellitec Solutions, following being named to Bob Scott's Insights list of top 100 VAR's in June.
With the global COVID-19 pandemic creating a lot of uncertainty, Accounting Today did not find many common factors among this year's group of top resellers, as was the case in previous years. Rather, they noted that many of the Top VAR's benefitted from either being in an area that was not nearly as affected by shutdowns, or that they were able to capitalize on a unique service offering.
Rick Sommer, president of Intellitec Solutions, states that Intellitec's cloud offerings was critical for the firm. "In the first months of the pandemic, we saw a dramatic uptick in business as clients had to adapt to remote work situations", said Sommer. "Many on-premise clients needed to switch to an Azure hosted environment, while others needed to implement to ACH payments and other automated processes. Now we are seeing more and more clients implementing cloud ERP solutions like Sage Intacct and Dynamics 365 Business Central."
While the industry awaits what the rest of the year will bring, Accounting Today notes that the VARs on the top 100 list have continued to show year-on-year growth by capitalizing on the increased cloud adoption that has been building over the past decade.
