Interactive picture book teaches little ones the importance of their digestive system and the role it plays in their body
Dr. Haitham Ahmed releases 'The Digestive System for Babies and Toddler
NEW YORK, Aug. 4, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- As a physician, Dr. Haitham Ahmed's little boys would watch him read ultrasounds or assess anatomical parts of the heart, and they were always so amazed. They would ask so many questions and were genuinely curious. This was striking to him and that is when he realized it is never too early to stimulate their curiosity. He knows children have a thirst for science and learning, so he wanted to create books to help inspire the love for science in the next generation.
"The Digestive System for Babies and Toddlers" (published by Archway Publishing) offers the perfect introduction to the wonders of the human body. This interactive board book teaches little ones about the digestive system, one of the body's most vital organ systems. Through words and pictures, this board book for children captures the imagination, stimulates curiosity, and facilitates a love for science in the next generation.
"Children love learning about food and their bodies. They also love talking about poop! They are like sponges. They soak up everything they learn. They are also incredibly curious about their bodies and the world. So if they will be learning anyways, why not learn something useful?" Ahmed says.
When asked what he wants readers to take away from the book, Ahmed answers, "It's never too early to stimulate the love for science and nurture the intellectual curiosity of your budding genius!"
