Jay Ferguson Named Garrett County Board of REALTORS® 2018 REALTOR® of the Year

(PRWEB) July 12, 2018 -- Taylor-Made Deep Creek Vacations & Sales, a leading vacation rental and sales firm located in McHenry, Maryland, is excited to announce that Jay Ferguson was named Garrett County Board of REALTORS® (GCBR) 2018 REALTOR® of the Year. The award is designed to honor and recognize a REALTOR® member for outstanding service to the real estate profession and community.
Jay has been a sales agent for nearly two decades. He kicked-off his career by winning “Rookie of the Year” after just one year in the business. In 2014, he seized the opportunity to become co-owner of Taylor-Made’s new real estate division. Jay has continued to be a successful agent finishing near the top in total transactions and total volume sold in 2017 in all of Garrett County and Deep Creek Lake — all while serving as the broker for Taylor-Made. He also made recent local headlines when he was featured on HGTV’s Lakefront House Hunt.
Jay was awarded this honor by the GCBR for his volunteerism with their organization and his community through Fellowship of Christian Athletes, his local church, Habitat for Humanity, Christian Crossroads, and local soccer and basketball programs just to name a few. His commitment to community extends into the company culture at Taylor-Made. He is active in group endeavors that include the semi-annual Adopt-A-Road Clean Up, volunteering time to raise funds for HART for Animals along with holiday food and toy drives.
As Garrett County REALTOR®️ of the Year, Jay is invited to participate in the Maryland REALTORS®️ Annual Conference and EXPO, being held September 21-23, 2018 at the Gaylord National Harbor Resort and Convention Center. He will be considered for recognition as Maryland REALTOR®️ of the Year.
