John Williams joins Hawkins Point Partners as Chief Strategy Officer
NORTH CHELMSFORD, Mass., Aug. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Hawkins Point Partners added the role of Chief Strategy Officer to their leadership team and welcomed John Williams to take on that mantle.
Williams had a previous working relationship with several members of Hawkins Point, including CEO - Heather Morris Kyer, Chief Talent Officer - John Cornwall, Vice President Business Development - Joe Robichaud and Managing Director Data | Analytics - Dan Sandler. Their respect for Williams' character and skill led them to pursue him for this exact role. As was expected, his transition to their company has been very natural, building upon a strong relationship that has grown over the years.
As Chief Strategy Officer, John Williams will help the company refine their services, strategy, and messaging to the market. His previous work experience has equipped him for this work as he served as Chief Strategy Officer of a professional services consulting firm; where he worked for 15 years. He has a passion for helping craft the company's market message, develop the overall company services strategy, and determine what's needed to deliver successfully.
Williams holds over 34 years of experience in computer sciences and the consulting space. His interest in the field began in high school, leading to a degree in Computer Science as well as Management at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts. He was a programmer in his first job. It was there, he fell in love with data. His ability to be both creative and pragmatic has brought him success in many arenas as diverse as being Director of Technology at one point to dabbling in real estate investing.
