Kentucky Home Care Association and Accreditation Commission for Health Care Form Partnership
CARY, N.C. (PRWEB) February 28, 2019 -- Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) is excited to announce its new partnership with Kentucky Home Care Association (KHCA). This agreement allows KHCA members to receive special pricing on ACHC’s Home Care Accreditation services, as well as discounts on ACHCU educational resources that help home care providers prepare for ACHC Accreditation.
“ACHC is extremely excited about our partnership with Kentucky Home Care Association, and we are pleased to be able to offer their members the resources and education that will enhance their ability to provide the highest quality patient care they can,” said Matt Hughes, ACHC Director of Business Development.
Kentucky Home Care Association is an association of member home care provider agencies, which value the home as a therapeutic environment for the care of patients. To support this value, they join together those providers striving to improve the availability and quality of care with those who advocate for, establish public policy regarding, regulate, and pay for care at home. KHCA is the unified voice serving as the principal resource and advocate for the success of its members.
“ACHC has a great record of supporting home care providers who seek to attain the utmost level of healthcare services they can by becoming engaged in the accreditation process,” said Evan C. Reinhardt, Executive Director of KHCA. “Kentucky Home Care Association is thrilled about our partnership with ACHC, knowing that this partnering move truly supports our joint mission to provide high quality programs and services within the home care provider community. Additionally, I feel our partnership will create new, beneficial avenues for our members, aiding their work in an always-changing healthcare marketplace.”
ACHC is a nonprofit accreditation organization with CMS Deeming Authority for Home Health, Hospice and Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS), with a Quality Management System that is certified to ISO 9001:2015. We were created for providers, by providers, to deliver a better accreditation experience. Since 1986, ACHC has offered a collaborative and educational approach to accreditation, empowering providers to enhance patient care through service-specific standards and industry best practices.
ACHC’s Partnership Program allows us to work closely with organizations like KHCA that share in the same mission and objectives. We continue to partner with healthcare organizations with different, yet complementary strengths, allowing us to offer providers access to the best industry resources.
