Kicking-off Summer Outdoors is Easier than Ever with Free Courses from L.L.Bean

That’s why the outdoor retailer is offering all of its Discovery Courses, which typically cost $25, for free from Memorial Day weekend through the end of June in partnership with Mastercard. L.L.Bean Discovery Courses encompass introductory-level classes as part of the L.L.Bean Outdoor Discovery Program, which offers year-round demonstrations, clinics, trips and hands-on courses for all levels. Discovery Courses are fun, easy courses led by experts who love the outdoors and thanks to the L.L.Bean Mastercard, this summer, everyone can get outside to learn something new including, but not limited to:
- Archery – Learn the proper techniques for this exciting sport using a bow and arrow for optimal accuracy and precision
- Kayaking – Explore nature on the water and learn basic paddling techniques and skills for this popular sport
- Stand-Up Paddleboarding – Discover how easy it is to balance on top of the water with the basic skills to maneuver a paddle board through scenic lakes, coves and inlets
- Fly-Casting – Expert instructors will teach you the skills to cast a fly in a friendly and supportive environment (Maine only)
- Sporting Clays – Learn the fundamentals of sport shooting and experience the thrill of hitting clay targets (Maine only)
- Mountain Biking – Get a taste for the sport with a guided ride on a well-maintained double track trail (Maine only)
