Kira Systems Appoints Joanna Trimble as Its First Chief Revenue Officer, Completing the Formation of Its Executive Leadership Team
Joanna brings over 20 years of sales experience to the new executive position at the Toronto-based AI company.
TORONTO, July 24, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Kira Systems welcomes Joanna Trimble as the company's first Chief Revenue Officer. Joanna joins Kira Systems with over 25 years in the legal industry including spearheading sales transformation at LexisNexis and scaling Practical Law (acquired by Thomson Reuters in 2014). In 2014, Joanna took on the role of Vice President (Corporate Sales) where she oversaw the teams working with in-house lawyers and successfully led 5 years of double digit growth while executing on major sales force transformation projects. As the first CRO of Kira Systems, Joanna will primarily focus on driving new revenue opportunities, implementing strategic initiatives and ensuring customer success.

Joanna's addition completes the formation of the Kira executive team which has undergone a strategic transformation over the past year. Joanna is the second executive to join the company since it's $50M USD minority investment by Insight Ventures in 2018. Vinay Nair, Senior Vice President Marketing, joined the company in January 2019 with a breadth of technology market experience in growth tech and large multinational companies (i.e Intelex, Corel, Microsoft) . Maria Cartagena, Senior Vice President People, is another recent addition and joined Kira Systems last year with over 20 years of technology HR experience (i.e Nulogy, ScribbleLive, IntelliResponse a 24/7 company). Rounding out the rest of the executive team is Noah Waisberg, Co-Founder and CEO, Dr. Alexander Hudek, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Steve Obsenski, Chief Product Officer, Susan Fox, CFO/COO, and Michael Raw, Senior Vice President Technology.
