Laser Research Optics Introduces Multi-Spectral ZnS Missile Domes For Visible Through MID-IR Applications
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (PRWEB) April 24, 2019 -- Laser Research Optics has introduced custom manufactured zinc sulfide (Cleartran®) missile domes that are designed to protect cameras, detectors, sensors, and others.
Laser Research Multi-Spectral ZnS Optical Domes are ideally suited for wavelengths from 600 nm to 12 microns and offer 160 degree maximum included angles to extend the viewing angle of missile guidance systems. Designed to protect cameras, detectors, sensors, and other devices, they provide up to 70% transmission uncoated in the visible through Mid-IR spectra.
Custom manufactured with precise edge configurations and mounting profiles, Laser Research Multi-Spectral ZnS Optical Domes are available in sizes up to 8” O.D. These high quality Cleartran® missile domes exhibit surface accuracy to less than 2 fringes @ 633 nm and finishes to 60-40 scratch-dig.
