Latest GetLinked Updates Make Financial Integration Easier
BOISE, Idaho (PRWEB) September 26, 2018 -- GetLinked just released its latest version of their point of sale and financial integration software. Some features are new while others are enhancements to existing functionality of the software. Many of the updates were added based on suggestions from existing customers wanting to make their financial integration easier and faster.
One of the newest features includes a quicker Find tool throughout the program on many fields including comments, amounts, dates, account numbers, employee information, customer and vendor transactions and more. This single feature is relied upon by most customers to quickly find the out-of-balance amounts in any transaction.
Another update includes wild card searches and the ability to have pre-set criteria with specific words, phrases or numbers in general description fields when importing data from any system. This feature has become invaluable to import data such as bank transactions that contain very sparse or encrypted explanations in the description or reference fields. It finds key words, phrases and irregularities, then assigns the appropriate accounting information based on the limited data provided. Another feature is the ability for an expanded description of items imported that can then be used in ad-hoc calculations and the results can become the actual accounting transaction. The calculation feature has existed in GetLinked Software, however with demands from the market to create additional transactions from existing data, GetLinked Software enhanced the capability to view these descriptions and create additional journal entries.
There are many additional features that have been added to the most recent release and all the features are available for existing and new customers from the GetLinked Software web site. These updates have made the automation of financial integration that much better, faster and easier for customers installing a financial integration system.
