Learning How the Brain Tells Stories Through the Use of an EEG

A University of Nebraska Emeritus Professor, Dr. Bonnstetter has dedicated three decades of his life to researching cognitive neurology. His team uses real-time electroencephalogram (EEG) tests that scan human brains. The scans help Bonnstetter’s team learn about the brain-based findings that inform human interactions.
In the podcast, Howell talks about taking part in a live demonstration to measure emotional intelligence (also known as EQ) through the use of the EEG.
“I think of EQ as a measure of how well you read other people and accurately identify their story,” said Howell.
During the podcast, Dr. Bonnstetter shares the test results of Howell’s session, showcasing three major outcomes and how to differentiate knowledge from understanding.
