Lucas Group Managing Partner Speaks On Panel: Veterans In The Workplace
ATLANTA (PRWEB) April 18, 2019 -- Lucas Group, ranked sixth on Forbes’ Best Professional Recruiting Firms list for 2019, announced that Jim Lose, Managing Partner Military Transition, will speak at the Maryland Chamber of Commerce “Veterans in the Workplace Spotlight.”
Held at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium on April 24, the event will feature three panels and a keynote address. Lose will speak on the first panel at 1:05 pm, “Valuing our Veterans.”
“Over 200,000 service members transition out of military service into the civilian sector each year,” said Lose. “Companies do not always realize veteran’s tremendous potential or the best way to harness this potential in the workplace. This panel is an opportunity to help Maryland businesses look beyond the uniform.”
Lose served in the Marine Corps for eight years as an Intelligence Officer, executing deployments in the Middle East and throughout the Asian-Pacific rim. He was recalled to active duty for one year during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Recognized as an expert on the recruitment and hiring of military veterans, Lose has been a participant and interviewee on C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal” and National Public Radio’s “Marketplace.” He has spoken at the United States Naval Academy, Virginia Military Institute, and various Army and Marine base officer transition programs.
