Lucas Properties held a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday January 9th for the construction of its Oaks on the River condominium residences. Dawn Malin, President & CEO of the McIntosh County Industrial Development Authority, was the Master of Ceremonies.
DARIEN, Ga., Jan. 11, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Lucas Properties held a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday January 9th for the construction of its Oaks on the River condominium residences. Dawn Malin, President & CEO of the McIntosh County Industrial Development Authority, was the Master of Ceremonies.
The new development is beginning Phase 1 of construction. Twelve well-appointed condominium units will be constructed and offered for sale during this phase of development. A sea-to-table restaurant with a rooftop bar, hotel, marina and additional amenities are all part of the thoughtful phased approach to the development of the community.
Art Lucas (Lucas Properties) gave a history of the project and overview of the development for this new landmark in Darien. Speakers at the event included Mr. Bubba Hodge, Mayor of Darien, Mr. Chris Harper, Chairman of the Development Authority, and Mr. Ed Perry, Former State Senator 7th District.
Phase I of the project is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2019 and sales reservations are currently being offered for the condominium residences. Prices of the condominiums begin in the $500,000s.
