Lucido Establishes European Hub in Amsterdam and Appoints Jan de Weerdt
As Part of its Global Expansion Lucido Group is Opening Offices in Amsterdam and Expanding its Team
DALLAS & AMSTERDAM, Feb. 16, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Lucido Group LLC, a specialist consultancy and software provider, announced today that it is expanding its activities in the European financial and commodity markets. After opening offices in London in 2021 with a focus on capital markets, Lucido is now taking the next step. The Amsterdam presence acts as the base for servicing customers in the EU, with an increased focus on the Energy and Commodities Trading and Risk Management markets. Lucido will now be able to offer its services to its existing accounts with a global reach and is in the process of expanding its activities and adding European-energy traders to its rapidly growing customer base.

Jan de Weerdt brings over 20 years of experience in the Energy Trading and Risk Management industry and has previously worked in the financial markets and been instrumental in developing and implementing electronic trading technology for banks, brokers, and trading organizations in the financial and energy markets in Europe and the US. Most recently, Mr. de Weerdt was a Principal Consultant at ION Group, where he worked with the Allegro ETRM platform and prior to that he ran system selections and implementation projects for other systems, including Openlink Endur. Before ION Group, Jan worked as consultant and project manager for Siemens, Schlumberger and a number of others.
