PONCE, Puerto Rico, Oct. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dr. Cummings graduated with his Medical Degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in the capital city of San Juan. After graduating and receiving his medical degree, Dr. Cummings completed his internship at University Hospital in New Jersey. Followed by a anesthesia residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami. He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, and maintains professional memberships with the American Medical Association, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Society Of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the World Institute of Pain.
Following his residency Dr. Cummings began his with Caribbean Cardio General Anesthesia where he worked for over two decades and ended his time there as President of the organization. Hi is currently the Director and physician of his own private company Ponce Interventional Pain Center. He is also an Assistant Professor for Ponce Health Sciences University in Puerto Rico. He has presented lectures at the Academy of Ponce Anesthesiology and the American Southern Medical Academy. He is currently a Fellow of the Interventional Pain Practice, a licensed Medical Examiner of Puerto Rico, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology with the American Board Medical Examiners.
