Lymphoma Research Foundation Showcases Record-Breaking Number of Researchers at 2018 American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting
New York, NY (PRWEB) December 01, 2018 -- The Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) – the nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to funding innovative lymphoma research and serving the lymphoma community through a comprehensive portfolio of education programs, outreach initiatives and patient services – will once again return to the American Society of Hematology (ASH) 60th Annual Meeting and Exposition, with nearly 100 LRF affiliated scientists, including past and present members of LRF’s world-leading Scientific Advisory Board and grantees, presenting their findings at this year’s conference.
Widely regarded as the premier event in malignant and non-malignant hematology, the ASH Annual Meeting, held from December 1-4, 2018 in San Diego, California, provides a critical forum for leading hematologists/oncologists to present their findings to more than 25,000 of their peers, providing an invaluable educational experience.
Among the distinguished scientists invited to present, LRF will see 82 percent of its LRF Scholars (participants in LRF’s Lymphoma Clinical Mentoring Program), 68 percent of its Lymphoma Rounds Steering Committee members; 77 percent of its Mantle Cell Lymphoma Consortium Members; and most notably, 96 percent of LRF’s Scientific Advisory Board present abstracts at the 60th ASH Annual Meeting.

The 2018 ASH Annual Meeting will also feature 739 abstracts and presentations stemming from LRF-funded research, of which approximately 75 percent are lymphoma related.
