Lumerical, a leading photonic simulation software developer, will exhibit and present its silicon photonics design tools at TSMC 2019 Open Innovation Platform® (OIP) Ecosystem Forum for the first time. Lumerical has recently joined TSMC EDA Alliance, a key component of TSMC Open Innovation Platform® (OIP), and collaborated with TSMC. In Lumerical booth #903, and Cadence booth #704, Lumerical will demonstrate a silicon photonics design flow, providing customers with a comprehensive flow for designing complex photonics systems. Built on the industry-standard Cadence® Virtuoso® custom IC design platform and integrating Lumerical's industry-leading INTERCONNECT photonic integrated circuit simulator, the silicon photonics flow allows customers to develop high-speed, silicon photonics-based designs in a familiar design environment.

Together with Cadence, Lumerical will present the Silicon Photonics design flow at 4:00 pm in a paper entitled "Photonics Coming of Age: From Laboratory to Mainstream Applications" in the HPC & 3DIC track. The paper will also be featured on the OIP Poster Display in the exhibit area.
