Lexile® and Quantile® Tools Support Remote Learning During COVID-19 and the Summer

To promote learning during this unprecedented time and stem summer learning loss, MetaMetrics® today announced with the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) that it is offering free premium access to top parent tools that support remote student learning. MetaMetrics supports the national, state-led summer learning initiative designed to raise awareness of summer loss and provide access to free resources to support reading and math learning.

Find a Book, a book search tool, helps to match a student's reading ability and personal interests with book search results that are just right. Students, educators and parents can build a custom bookshelf, discover challenging vocabulary in books and check book availability at the local library or Amazon. Find a Book includes hundreds of thousands of fiction and nonfiction titles for students of all ages K-12, and new titles are added every day.
The Summer Math Challenge is a six-week online math program for students who have completed grades 1-8. Students can access math learning activities on weekly topics that are aligned with state math standards and practice according to their grade and ability level.
