Mission Arlington/Metroplex, United Concordia Dental Sponsor Free Dental Services for Area Youth
ARLINGTON, Texas (PRWEB) August 17, 2019 -- Approximately 50 area youth between the ages of 12 and 18 are receiving free dental care services today under a program sponsored by United Concordia Dental and Mission Arlington/Metroplex.
“We value our long-standing relationship with Mission Arlington and are proud to work alongside them to make these services available to area youths who are uninsured or underinsured,” says Gary Delz, D.D.S., dental director, United Concordia. “We know how important it is for them to have access to preventive oral care.”
Dr. Delz has volunteered for all 18 Mission Arlington clinics, and helped recruit volunteer dentists for this year’s event.
Youth who attend also will meet Texas Rangers players Brett Martin and Danny Santana, and Rangers Captain, the team’s mascot.
Local dental professionals are volunteering their time to deliver care at Mission Arlington’s Allan Saxe Dental Clinic, 210 W. South Street. They are providing free dental exams, X-rays, cleanings and fillings.
United Concordia has partnered with Mission Arlington on this event for the past 18 years. This year, the company also is providing gifts for the patients and food for the event’s volunteers.
United Concordia also hosted the volunteers at the Rangers’ game against the Minnesota Twins Friday, Aug. 16.
